Chocolate Mould FAQ
Why does the chocolate stick to the mould?
We highly recommend you check how to temper the chocolate before you use the moulds. The only way that the chocolate will stick is if it is not at the right temperature.
How long should leave the mould in the fridge or freezer?
DO NOT FREEZE. Freezer makes plastic brittle. For fridges, it really depends on the temperature of your fridge. It can take from 10-30min. When ready, the chocolate will become opaque.
The silicone part of my mould is more flexible than others I have.
That’s normal. Some are more flexible then others. It won’t affect your final result.
My mould arrived cracked. What should I do?
Please take pictures that include the delivery box. E-mail us with your order number and we will investigate it fully with the carrier.
Why do my chocolate shells break when I remove them from the mould?
You may not have filled in enough chocolate so as not to leave any gap. It can happen. We also recommend after you pour the chocolate that you massage the mould, especially the edges to ensure that all the space is filled.
How do I clean my mould?
DO NOT PUT IN A DISHWASHER. Gently wash and dry after each use or wipe with a damp clean cloth or kitchen wipe and leave to dry fully.
We have tutorials in our YouTube channel showing how to clean your mould.
How many times can I use my mould?
The moulds can be used innumerable times, but they are not rubber silicone. They are more delicate and need to be treated with care for the best results and reusability.
My mould cracked after I took the mould from the fridge and tried to take the shell out?
Wait 2 minutes after you take them out from the fridge. They need to warm up a bit before you press the mould to remove the shells. Freezer makes plastic brittle, so please do not freeze.
